Relationships:

All of the individuals in the system maintain the same sexuality and consider the same people their partners.  


We have been with Jaycie for almost 7 years.  We got married a little over 4 years ago.  We knew from the beginning of the relationship that we were ment to be poly, and live as a family unit.  Jaycie and I are often what the other isn't.  We fill each others gaps.  We're so completely different, but complement very well.  We've also not had an easy way at life, we've had some serious struggles through our relationship.  Health, money, family etc .


Jaycie and I met Natalie almost a year ago in the #plurality IRC channel.  Over the last few months we'd been getting much closer to her (individually, ironically)  We both were in PM's with her simultaneously and neither of us knew.  We started getting closer as the three of us, and slowly evolved into a triad.  Natalie makes me so happy, she is the sweetest thing.


Andra and I have been together for about a year and a half.  Andra and I really have an innate understanding of the others feelings.  We both perceive many things very similarly.  


One of the biggest struggles in my relationships with both Natalie and Andra is that both of them live in the UK.  Distance is a tough thing in a relationship.  But we as a system have survived distance before, and will survive it again.



Tidbits:
We are not out in our RL life as multiple.  Cobalt fronts primarily, occasionally there is blending.    We live our lives as a 28 year old female lesbian, using the body's name.

The house is filled with animals,  in total: one dog, three cats, and three rats.



Origins:


We're a trauma induced system.  Our father was abusive when we were younger.  Our mother is an attorney who likes to argue which exasperated the anger which fueled the abuse.  I really don't want to go into many more details, but the members of our system emerged throughout childhood.
