Multiplicity and Accountability.

We're fairly new to the Multiplicity Community, and already I've seen all too often this scenario:

SystemA[Jane] is acting up in a chat room.  The moderator steps in and tells her to stop.  Jane mouths off some more, and the moderator is forced to kick her, before they can SystemA[Jane] switches to SystemA[John].  John is quite upset that he is being held responsible for Jane's actions.

Thats the American Way isn't it?  Make someone else pay the price.

Unfortunately for us Multiples, we do get a raw deal, singlets are responsible for just themselves.  Part of "Healthy Multiplicity" is all members of a system being held responsible for each other, we all share the same body after all.  How would we function in society any other way?  If "my headmate did it" became an acceptable defense in court, then you might as well take stock in a bomb shelter company, because theres nothing between us and nuclear winter.  OK, that was a bit sensationalist and exaggerated but my point still stands, there is no way society can function if bodies can't take responsibility for the actions of the individual(s) within.

We're all better then that, we can and will rise above this to become empowered individuals who happen to be part of a multiple system.
